RD OCTAPAD (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a professional electronic drum pad controller application designed for music performance, practice, and MIDI control.
RD OCTAPAD is designed to operate primarily on your device. We do not intentionally collect or sell personal information such as your name, phone number, address, contacts, photos, messages, location information, or passwords.
RD OCTAPAD does not require users to create an account or provide personal information to use the core application.
The app may allow you to select and use audio files stored on your device for custom pad sounds. These files are used locally for music playback and performance and are not intentionally uploaded to RD OCTAPAD servers.
RD OCTAPAD may support MIDI functionality, including USB OTG MIDI and compatible MIDI devices. MIDI data may be exchanged between the app and connected MIDI hardware according to the settings selected by the user. MIDI data is used for music-performance functionality and is not intentionally collected or sold by RD OCTAPAD.
The app may allow users to assign physical keyboard keys to drum pads and functions. Keyboard input is processed for controlling the app and triggering assigned functions. RD OCTAPAD does not intentionally collect or transmit general keyboard activity.
RD OCTAPAD allows users to save and load custom kits using the .rdo file format. These files may contain pad settings, sound assignments, effects, and other kit configuration information. Saved .rdo files are stored according to the location selected by the user and are not intentionally uploaded to RD OCTAPAD servers.
RD OCTAPAD may request device permissions when necessary for features such as selecting or accessing audio files and communicating with compatible external MIDI hardware. Permissions are used for the functionality for which they are required.
RD OCTAPAD does not intentionally use advertising services or third-party advertising SDKs in the current version. RD OCTAPAD does not intentionally use third-party analytics services to create advertising profiles of users.
Some functionality, such as Google Play distribution and in-app purchasing, may be provided through Google Play services. Such services are governed by their respective privacy policies and terms. RD OCTAPAD does not receive or store users' Google account passwords or payment card details.
If premium features or a full-version purchase are offered through Google Play, payment processing is handled by Google Play. RD OCTAPAD does not directly collect or store users' payment card or banking information.
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the application. Because RD OCTAPAD is primarily designed to process data locally on the user's device, users should also maintain appropriate security for their device and files.
RD OCTAPAD is not specifically directed toward children under the applicable minimum age for digital services. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children.
RD OCTAPAD does not intentionally maintain a personal-data database for users. Locally stored kits, custom audio files, and application settings can be removed by the user through the device or application functionality where applicable.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the application, its features, or applicable requirements change. Any updated version will be published at the same Privacy Policy location with an updated effective date.
